Donald Trump recently appeared on “Meet the Press“. He was specifically asked if the President of the United States was obligated to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. This is specific the question:
“But even given those numbers that you’re talking about, don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?” (Kristen) Welker asked.
“I don’t know,” Trump replied. “I have to respond by saying, again, I have brilliant lawyers that work for me, and they are going to obviously follow what the Supreme Court said.”
Frankly, this is a sad and pathetic response. Trump took the Oath of Office twice, swore allegiance to the United States and the Constitution of said country. In specific, Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution specifies:
“Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:–“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Anyone who doesn’t understand their obligations under the Constitution of the United States is clearly unfit and unqualified to be President.

Our democracy is being threatened with its fundamental existence.

Resist. Persist. Oppose. Propose. Be the opposition with a proposition.
Here is a recent email I sent to “Whitehouse.gov”.
Mr. President –
1. I need to correct something on your website. America is NOT back. America never left. What arrived with you and your staff is 1930’s Nazi Germany. This is something nobody voted for.
2. Your attempt to destroy all the institutions which make the U.S. the envy of the world is demented, like you and members of your staff. What in God’s name is wrong with you people? You, sir, should wake up every day happy to be alive and wealthy. Why such bitterness and vengeance?
3. Normal people cannot accept you because the heart of your administration is not the improvement of life for the average person of America. You care nothing for that. The heart of your administration is small-mindedness and a focus on you seeming to settle scores. These scores are the misconceptions of a disturbed little boy.
4. As the polls show, you have turned off many of your voters who didn’t realize the extremes you were capable of reaching. These polls seem to be wishing you a very warm eternity in Hades.
