Itai was taken hostage on October 7. He has since been declared dead. The latest reports are that Hamas still has around 150 people that were taken hostage. Of those over thirty are believed dead. Hamas is responsible, but Bibi shares some of the blame for the increasing number of deaths, both Israeli and Palestinian. It’s becoming increasingly clear that his desire to remain in power matters more than the number killed.
