The NRA is Afraid

The statistics are hard to find, but the numbers are real. Over 30,000 people die each year by suicide. A lot of them are veterans. Many, perhaps most of the 30,000, kill themselves with guns.  Each year in this country more die via suicide than in automobile accidents.

There is a reason why mental health professionals, when dealing with someone in crisis, ask “do you keep a gun in the house?”. Yet the CDC can’t study this epidemic. Health agencies can’t get federal funding.

Why is the NRA afraid of the truth?
