Some also see it as a curse.  Earlier today I was thinking that I’m looking forward to a day, hopefully in the near future, where the lead headlines in the newspapers and on news programs are not about COVID19.  Then I realized that wish could come true not only with COVID19 fading away, but with something worse happening.
